Bold Business Works Monthly Newsletter
July 2014
Thanks to many of you who reached out to me after last month's newsletter, telling you about my move to NYC and my daughter's graduation from high school.  Here's a graduation photo!

Mostly settled in our digs on the Upper West Side now, enjoying everything Manhattan has to offer!  Hope you're having a great summer.

What great things could you accomplish working with a partner?
This past month I have been busy launching a new joint venture and reflecting on how much I enjoy working in a great partnership.

Imagine...

Ben without Jerry?

Sergey without Larry?

Rowan without Martin?

George without Ira?

You get the idea!

Even though most of my work is solo (or interacting with an individual client), I am a big fan of partnerships---when you work with another person who brings a different approach/skill-set great things can ensue!  I launched my website builder with Kevin McGillivray and I do videos with Marty Jenoff.

My new venture is Concierge Transition Team, which I launched with Meridian Kristi---helping medical practices transition to concierge medicine.

We are launching our joint venture in parallel with our existing businesses, so we can test out the concept and our working relationship while we keep our own ventures going.

A few tips if you are going to start something with a partner:
1.  Thoroughly discuss your individual and joint expectations for the business so you know you both are heading the same direction.
2.  Get your agreement in writing.  Use standardized language but then adjust to your situation.
3.  Ensure each of you understand your roles in the joint venture.
4.  Set up regular check-in calls or meetings to stay on track with the JV.
5.  Always be open and honest with your partner about the project, your working relationship and everything else.

Stay tuned for progress reports on Concierge Transition Team!

Happy to be settled (sort of) in New York!  Plenty of openings on my schedule if you've been thinking you'd like to explore coaching with me!  Sign yourself up for a complimentary coaching exploration call!  Sign up now.
