To tell the truth, sometimes I feel that way myself. Every time there's buzz about some new thing, I wonder if I've gotten left behind in the Stone Age. Pinterest? Yeah, I tried that. Twitter? I have an account, though I don't have much to say.
I try to keep my eye on the prize: will the new thing help my business in some way? If not, I try not to get distracted by bright shiny objects. I'm not always an early adopter, I'd rather wait to see what it's all about and understand the implications of it. I think that's okay, especially as users and applications evolve over time.
Back in 2006, a partner and I launched our own simple and affordable website builder to meet a need for an easy-to-use non-technical content management system. It has been a great success, but over the last few months we've decided it's time to get up to date and we are proud to announce that our Bold Business Tools website builder is being moved to a WordPress platform. WordPress has become the de-facto standard as a content management system that goes well beyond its original purpose as a blogger's site builder.
We've tried to simplify some of the WordPress features to make it super easy to use and add some spiffy functionality like rotating testimonials, Facebook "like boxes", store, blog, maps, I think you'll like what you'll see!
Here are a few new sites in this system we've been working on with clients:
I invite you to see what we've been working on: WEBINAR FOR A SNEAK PREVIEW OF THE ALL-NEW BOLD BUSINESS TOOLS WORDPRESS SITE BUILDER:
Monday, March 11th at 6PM ET/3PM PT.
Whether you are an existing client or a new client, hope you'll join me and see this exciting new system as bring forth the next generation of our site builder. It will remain affordable, easy and let you have a good enough website that will help your business be visible on the web.
